Aditya Allamraju is a current graduate student at the University of Illinois and recently took GEOG 407 Foundations of CyberGIS & Geospatial Data Science. She shared that GEOG 407 was her first choice to take as a course when offered admission to the University of Illinois in Fall 2021. “The course schedule was very well planned, and I was excited to take the course. During the course, I thoroughly enjoyed every topic. I want to thank my instructor, Dr. Anand Padmanabhan, for being kind and helpful whenever I had any doubts regarding the course materials (lessons and labs)”, shared Aditya.
Additionally, Aditya feels that the GEOG 407 lab sessions were very insightful and worthful to attend every week. She says “Dr. Padmanabhan interacted with students and made sure that every student understood the concept clearly. The CyberGISX platform was well-maintained, and it was easy for me to understand its tools and functionalities during the course. Kudos to everyone who is part of establishing the CyberGISX platform!”
Ms. Allamraju thinks the best part of GEOG 407 is (though it is an online course) that she never felt the need for in-person assistance or in-person class. “The course is a grand success in its online mode of instruction!”
